Mission

Our Mission Statement

The MIA Gallery is committed to showcasing and supporting acknowledged masters and notable emerging Inuit artists in a setting that respectfully and engagingly displays their work while educating the public on Inuit and their culture. In order to achieve these goals, the MIA Gallery works closely with Inuit cooperative and art marketing groups, including Canadian Arctic Producers, La Federation de Cooperatives de Nouveau-Quebec and the Northwest Company, and directs all profits to support the Museum of Inuit Art.
